My poor cintiq was been lying around with nothing to do (mostly because I'm afraid of it) so I decided to mess around with it on an old lineart I forgot about under piles of bills and junkmail. A variation on my gator character.

Heres my creature of the week progress so far. Topic was unicorn hunter. It roams the plains devouring herds of unicorn. The Baleen filers the horns from the beasts where it then processes the magical energy into it's system. The unicorn goop from one herd can keep the Kraglemana energized for months at a time. The rest of the unicorn is then discharged from its blowhole.

I'll have to go back and get a few more passes done on it in a few days

Dominance War III concept

So a few friends of mine are competing in this low-poly/ concept art battle called Dominance War. I thought it would be a great opportunity to get back into the 3d side of things for a bit.





concept:
After discovering an ancient rune in the volcanic mountains his people dwell, Thuzz gained the ability to control heat. He forged the artifact into a hammer he could use, and became a lead blacksmith in his subterranean metropolis. When news of the war reached his people, Thuzz helped lead a grand fortification of the city sealing their civilization from the outside world forever. Thuzz remained outside the wall to continue his work but soon ran out of materials to build. He joined the war effort, crafting weapons and defenses for forces of cgtalk, and scavenging the battlefields for more materials to take back to continue his endless fortification.
